 Background

  • A fast-growing US based fintech startup was planning to raise capital to accelerate its growth further.

  • Key value the additional capital would bring included investments in areas such as R&D, risk management, market expansion, overall organizational growth, and talent acquisition.

  • Nordico was hired to support executive leadership through two rounds of financing, including financial modeling, diligence support, valuation, information memorandum development and ad-hoc support.

What we did

  • Worked closely with the founders throughout the processes to provide advice and develop materials required for the funding rounds.

  • Developed financial models including TAM, revenue, COGS and SG&A cost projections as input to the diligence and information memorandum.

  • Developed current- and future state organizational models as input to the future state required to support the projected growth.

  • Assisted executive leadership in conducting a valuation of their company based on various methods and revenue growth projections as input to discussions with investors.

  • Developed data requests and materials to help the company rapidly prepare for the diligence processes.

  • Supported executive leadership in developing the overall information memorandum for both rounds of financing.

  • Helped executive leadership prepare for board meetings by developing materials and conduct various analysis.

  • Provided ad-hoc support to leadership when required, including specific requests throughout the diligence processes.
